WITS ALUMNI EMMANUEL TSHITUKA SHINES IN THE RUGBY WORLD.

Rugby sensation has been continuing to shine in the Rugby World.

The 23 year old plays for the Lions and they are currently participating in the United Rugby Championship.

Tshituka is a former Wits player, representing the University of the Witwatersrand in many competitions, such the popular Varsity Cup.

The Lions flanker was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, who do not have a rugby team, and Tshituka plans to get a South African citizenship so that he can be eligible to play for the 4 time Rugby World Cup champions, Springboks.

Tshituka who was on VOW FM’s Sports show, Sports Hub, said he always believed that he will breakthrough to professional Rugby, but never thought it would happen this soon.

Tshituka’s team, Lions, haven’t had a good start in the United Rugby Champion thus far, but will look to improve going forward.
