In an enthralling and dramatic El Clasico encounter, Real Madrid came from behind twice to snatch a last-gasp 3-2 victory over arch-rivals Barcelona. The win opens up a commanding 11-point lead for Real at the top of the La Liga table with just six games remaining.

The match got off to a lively start as Barcelona took an early 6th minute lead through Andreas Christensen’s headed goal from a corner kick. However, Real drew level just 12 minutes later when Vinicius Jr converted from the penalty spot after Lucas Vazquez was fouled in the box.

Despite controlling large periods of the second half, Real found themselves trailing again in the 69th minute as substitute Fermin Lopez pounced on a rebound to make it 2-1 to Barcelona. But the home side’s resilience shone through once more as Vazquez rifled in an equalizer just four minutes later with a brilliant volley.

With the game perfectly poised heading into injury time, it was young English midfielder Jude Bellingham who emerged as the hero, smashing home a dramatic 92nd minute winner from Vazquez’s cross to spark euphoric scenes at the Bernabeu.

The huge victory puts Real Madrid firmly in the driver’s seat to clinch their 36th La Liga title, while leaving Barcelona with a mountain to climb to catch their rivals with just six games left to play. Bellingham’s late heroics capped a simply breathtaking El Clasico clash with Goal Line Technology also grabbing the headlines.
