CELTICS SWEEP THEIR WAY TO THE NBA FINALS

The Boston Celtics have proceeded to the 2024 NBA Finals following their Game 4 win over the Indiana Pacers, and their crowning of the 2024 Eastern Conference Champions.
It is the second time in three seasons they have reached the league finals. The Celtics are currently tied with the Los Angeles Lakers, as the teams which have the most NBA Championships, with 17 per team.
After winning the Eastern Conference finals, Jaylen Brown was crowned as the Eastern Conference Most Valuable Player (MVP)
The Celtics were crowned Conference Champions at the Pacer’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse arena in Indiana, after sweeping the home side 4-0 in the Conference Finals, with a Game 4 scoreline of 105-102. The Boston based side previously won Game 1 in overtime by 133-128 on 21 May, Game 2 by 126-110 on 23 May, and Game 3 by 114-111 on 25 May.
Boston now awaits their opponents in the finals, after the Dallas Mavericks lost their Game 4 encounter against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. Game 5 takes place on the 30th of May with the Mavericks leading the series by 3-1.
The NBA finals begin on 6 June with Game 1 taking place at Boston’s home court at TD Garden, as they will face either the Dallas Mavericks or the Minnesota Timberwolves.
