The Nedbank Cup quarterfinals fixtures have been confirmed with venues and dates still yet to be confirmed. The quarter-final draw for the Nedbank Cup has produced mouthwatering fixtures that will surely excite South African football lovers. The draw took place at the Supersport studios in Randburg last night and this is the outcome of the draw.
A home game for Durban City as they take on Marumo Gallants. Mamelodi Sundowns on the other hand will have to wait and see who their opponents will be for their home game between Royal Am /Milford fc and Sekhukhune United.
SuperSport United will host Orlando Pirates for their Nedbank quarter final fixture more like a fixture repeat when the two teams met in the Nedbank Cup final in 2017 and SuperSport came out victorious with a 4-1 final victory. Lastly, Stellenbosch FC will host the team that seems to be slowly coming back to it’s winning ways Kaizer Chiefs.
Pirates are the defending Nedbank Cup champions, having won the last two editions, defeating Mamelodi Sundowns and Sekhukhune United, respectively. Sundowns will be eager to win this year’s edition after losing in the final in 2024. Moreover, this is another chance for Chiefs to end their almost-decade trophy drought.
The League will advise on what is next regarding the Round of 32 fixture between Royal AM and Milford FC, which has been postponed.
