“I think we started the game exactly the way we have planned with high intensity, we wanted to put pressure to the opponent to try to score early . I think the boys did a fantastic game in terms of football, in term of what we wanted to execute today . We managed to have a lot of chances , I think at half time we could have lead with 5 goals, it’s a positive point and I would like to congratulate my boys for that . It was important to take this victory and to go through to the next stage and fix what we have done.” Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou

After losing to Magesi in the opening round of the competition last season, Pirates were eager for a different script with a largely different cast.
