What inspired you to join radio? I am fascinated with the concept of the medium and how it engages with the mind of the listener. The ability to have a conversation with many listeners individually always amazes me as a result it inspired me to do radio.
Who is your favourite all time broadcaster? Glen Lewis, Khutso Theledi and DJ Ankletap
What’s the one quote you live by? “Every accomplishment begins with the decision to try.”
What’s been your best and worst moment on air? Best moment was my first time on air! It felt so surreal yet so right! It was a feeling I fail to describe in words! My worst moment was when I accidentally altered my voice into a theatre voice and it sounded like I was shouting at the listeners which was quite embarrassing!
What’s the funniest thing you have ever heard? That is very hard to pin-point, I love laughing so I find a lot of things funny!

What was the last lie you told? I told someone I miss them when I really don’t lol
If you had to pick an age that you would be for the rest of your life, which age would that be and why? 21! Such a beautiful year! I got to have umemulo (coming of age ceremony in the Zulu culture) and it was just a great year where I started finding myself spiritually which was uncomfortable but amazing!
Name your favourite equipment /tool you use on air? The microphone, I love engaging with that likkle cutie! She’s like the best friend I never had, always listening to what I have to say!
Who is your go to person for anything and everything in life? My mother, sister and partner
