Magesi FC have been crowned 2024 Carling Knockout Cup champions after defeating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the final at the Free State stadium on Saturday evening. Goalkeeper and captain of the team Elvis Chipezeze was once again the start of the show as he had a standout performance for his side, denying Sundowns with a couple of crucial saves in their 2-1 shock victory. His fine performance earned him a fourth R100,000,00 cheque but did insist that making the fans fans happy was his main priority.
