THE STAGE IS SET FOR AN EPIC SHOWDOWN BETWEEN MAMELODI SUNDOWNS AND ORLANDO PIRATES

All roads lead to Loftus Versfeld stadium on the 8th of February 2025 as the stage is set for an epic betway premiership showdown between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

The Sea Robbers will come into this match with recent two victories against Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune United, while the reigning league also comes into this encounter with two victories against Golden Arrows and their city arch rivals SuperSport United.

The Buccaneers will have put their game in order to prove that they can be the team that stops Sundowns from lifting their eighth consecutive league title and to do that, this will be a game they need to win. The Brazilians have not beaten Pirates in the last three meetings – two of which were cup finals, the 2024 MTN8 final and 2024 Nedbank Cup.
